1. Playing court
1.1.
The court is a square by 20 meters each side. 3,5 meters behind each side, are located the four “fosis”. In the middle of the
square there is a circle 10 meters diameter, located 8,5 metres from the line
where “fosis” are located.
1.2.
Every line in the court measure 5 centimeters
wide.
1.3.
4 meters behind each line of the square are
located the four “fosis” separated 2,5 meters each one.
2. The “fosis”
2.1.
The “fosis” are 30 centimeters high, and a
circle base 12 centimeters diameter. The “fosis” are made of wood.
2.2. The “fosis” are painting in a different colour in each side. The same colour as the defending team shirt on that side.
3. The ball
3.1.
The ball must be spherical. It is made of
polychloride of vinyl or plastic. The ball has to have dimensions between 68
and 70 centimeters of circumference, and its weight is 275 grams approximately.
The ball is size 5.
4. Game development
4.1.
The objetive of the game is knock down the
other teams´ “fosis” If a team were koncked down its 4 “fosis”, it must leave
the game. The last team who keep any “fosi” standing, it will be the winner.
4.3. The
máximum duration of the game is 40 minutes, without breaks.
4.4. The
game starts with a jump among one player of each team, throwing the ball in the
air by the referee.
And, in case of the tie continues between
2 or more teams, the tiebreaker will be resolved throwing 3 penalties by team,
from the central circle (8,5 meters).
In case of still tied, after 3 throws, two
or more teams, it continue throwing one by one, until there was a only team that
have knocked down a “fosi”, and not the other teams.
5. The team
5.1.
A team is formed up to 10 players. No more than 4 players can be in the court at the same time. The rest of players are substitutes.
5.2.
A team must be 3 players, at least, at the
beginning of the match, and during the match. In case of being les than 3 players the team is removed out the game, continuing to play the others three
teams.
5.3.
The substitute players can go into the court in
every momento, and repeatedly, withouth notify to referee or table controllers,
always the player who is substitued leave the court. The player changes must be
have by the bottom line of each team.
5.4.
An anti-regulation change will be punished with
2 minutes of exclusion for the offender player.
5.5.
If an adittional player illegally interferes
with the match, withouth a previous change. The player will be expelled, and
his team will be punished with a player excluded during 2 minutes.
5.6. There are 3 modalities: male, female and mixed. In the school it always played with the mixed modalitie,having to play at all times, at least, 2 players of each sex in each team.
6. Equipement
6.1.
Every player in the court of the same team must
wear the same uniform, composed by a t-shirt, a short and a socks. Having to
wear a blue uniform one team, red uniform another team, yellow uniform another
team, and green uniform another team.
6.2.
The players must wear in their t-shirts visible
numbers, that will be at least 25 centimeters high on the back of the jersey.
The posible numbers to use will be from 1 to 99.
6.3.
It is forbidden to wear objects which could be
dangerous players or allow them to obtain undue adventage. This include, for
example, head protectors, gloves, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings,
neckclace or any other object that could be dangerous.
The
players who do not meet these requirements Will not be allowed to participate
until they have corrected the problem. Except, medical justifications.
6.4.
If a player is bleeding or has blood in his/her
body, it must go out the court inmediately, to clean and cure the hurt.
6.5.
In case of injury, the referee could permit
anybody go into the court to attend injured player. This player is compulsary
to leave the court and be substitued by another teammate.
7. Way of playing
7.1.
It is allowed to catch, throw, stop and hit the
ball with one or both hands, forearms, and elbows.
7.2.
It can move foeward by bouncing the ball, but
only with one hand. Once it is held with 2 hands, it can only take 2 steps
before passing or throwing.
7.3.
The ball can be held for a máximum of 10
seconds. When the referee considers that a player takes this time, he will
raise his hand for a count down from 3 to 0. In case of not releasing the ball,
the player must inmediately puti t on the ground.
7.4.
The ball keeper cannot be touched or harassed,
leaving space at arm´s lenght for the ball keeper to pivot.
7.5.
You can play the ball while sitting on your
knees or lying on the ground.
7.6.
It is not allowed to touch the ball after
passing or throwing, unless the ball has played before with another player.
7.7.
It is not allowed to touch willfully the ball
with any other body part than hands, forearms and elbows. When the ball touches
in other different part to these three withouth intention, and withouth can
avoid the impact, nothing happens, and it is not punished.
7.8.
If a player with the ball in possession is out
of the court lines with one or both feet, he or she is punished with the los of
pssession, and he or she must leave inmediately the ball on the ground.
7.9.
To avoid alliances among teams, it is not
allowed to pass between players of different teams.
7.10. To
avoid alliances among teams, it could only knock down a “fosi” after receiving
a pass from a teanmate.
8. The square of game
8.1.1.
Kick
off, when a player of a team different from the defender on that side pass the
line with the ball in its possession or withouth the ball, but the player
obtain adventage by passing the line.
8.1.2.
Penalty
kick, when a player of the team defender that side, pass the line and because
of this theis tema obtain advantage, stopping a throw or obstructing a clear
throwing ocassion. The penalty kick will
be throwing by a player from the team which was harmed due to the illgal
defender action.
8.1.3.
Infringement,
having to leave the ball on the ground, when a player from the defender team of
that side receives the ballo ut of their own line. The game is resumed with a
jump between a player from the rest of teams, 1 meter from the end line in that
side.
8.2. Exceeding
the baseline is not penalized when a player from either team crosses the line
withouth the ball and doesnt gain any advantage.
8.3. It is
allowed to touch the ball when the player is in the air out of the square.
8.4.
If a player throw to a “fosi” and a defender
player of that side intercepts the throwing and the ball goes out, it is
penalized with the resumption of game with a corner by the team which did the
throwing, from the nearest corner where the ball goes out.
8.5.
If a player throw willfully the ball to their
own side, the decission will be the next:
8.5.1. “Fosi” knock down, if the ball knockes down a
“fosi”.
8.5.2. Corner kick, if doesnt knock down a “fosi”.
The corner kick is taken by the team which side is closer than the site where
the ball goes out. For example, if a
yellow player throw willfully the ball against their own bottom line, and the
nearest line where ball goes out is blue, the blue team taken the corner kick
from the corner between yellow and blue.
9. Fouls
a)
Take more han 2 steps with the ball in the
hands. (steps)
b)
Catch the ball again, after releasing it from
the hands previously, for bouncing, passing or throwing, without the ball touch
previously another player. (doubles)
c)
Pass the ball to a player from another team to
gain an advantage. (alliance)
d)
Throw and konck down a “fosi” without received
the ball previously from a teammate.
9.2. Mild
fouls: It isn´t allowed:
a)
Touch the player with the ball in possession,
or the ball when a player is in it possession. It is only allowed try to
intercept the pass or throwing.
b)
Intercept willfully a pass or throwing with any
body part isn´t allowed by the regulation.
c)
Block with hands, arms, trunk or legs an
opponent without ball.
d)
Push, pull, grab, or trip an opponent with or
without ball.
e)
Don´t leave the ball on the ground after commit
a game infraction, or throwing willfully to avoid an opponent restart the game.
f)
Repeat continuously and willfully game
infractions.
g)
Vehemently protest to the referee.
9.3. Serious
fouls: It isn´t allowed:
a)
Attack, hit or kick strongly to the referee, a
teammate or an opponent with or without the ball in possession.
b)
Insult or spit to the referee, a teammate or an
opponent.
10. Sanctions
10.2. In
case of two or more players catch the ball at the same time (fight), the
referee will stop the game and it is restarted with a jump between these
players.
10.3. The
mild fouls are sanctioned with the interruption and the accumulation of a foul
to the offender. In case a player accumulates 3 mild fouls, the player must
leave the court, unable to participate again, but the player can be replaced by
a teammate.
In the assumptions 9.2 a, b, c and d, the
game is restarted with a kick from a player that team which received the foul.
In the assumptions 9.2 e, f and g, the
game is restarted with a jump between a player of each team which doesn´t
commit the infraction.
10.4. The
serious fouls are sanctioned with the interruption and the expulsion the player
who commit the foul, and the player couldn´t be replaced by another teammate,
leaving it team with one player less.
The
game is restarted with a kick by the player who received the foul.
In
case of being the referee the object of the foul, the game is restarted with a
jump between a player of each team which doesn´t commit the foul.
11. Puntuaction
11.1. A “fosi”
is knocked down when the ball touch the “fosi” and this fall down, losing their
support on the round base. If the “fosi” moves, but it doesn`t fall down, it is
not valid, and the “fosi” must be placed newly in it place.
11.2. If a
team gets knock down a “fosi” of each other team, by a throwing from the central
circle, the team which has knocked down the “fosi”, it will rise one of his
“fosis”, if they have one knocked down, or unless, they add another one up to a
maximum of 5 by team.
11.3. The
team which has kocked down all of its “fosis” is removed, and the players of
this team must leave the court.
11.4. In
case of reaching the end of the match (40 minutes) with several teams without
removed, it will win the team which more “fosis” standing.
11.5
In case of a tie to ”fosis” standing, at the
end of the match among 2 or more teams. It get a better position the team which
more “fosis” have knoked down.
In
case of continuing the tie among 2 or more teams, the tiebreaker will be
resolved throwing 3 penalties each team from the center circle (8,5 meters).
In
case of continuing the tie among 2 or more teams after the 3 penalties. The
teams will continue throwing one by one until only one team will knock down a
“fosi” in the same number of throwing.
12. Serves
12.1. The
kick off consist in a jump among 4 players. One of each team. The referee throw
the ball to the air from the point placed in the central circle.
12.2. After
knocking down a “fosi”, the game is restarted with a kick off from the central
circle by a player of the team which the “fosi” was knocked down. No other
player of another team can be in to the central circle. But, it there may be
others players of the team which kick off.
12.3. In
case the ball goes out over the bottom line, it kick off a player of the team
which defender this side, from this bottom line Exception: rule 8.4 and 8.5.2.
12.4. In
case of infraction, mild foul or serious foul, the game is restarted as
established in rules 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3.
12.5. In no
case, it can knock down a “fosi” directly from a corner kick.
13. Penalty
13.1. A
penalty kick is awarded when:
13.1.1.
A player defends behind the bottom line with
its feet on the ground. Either for preventing the reception of the ball by a
rival player, for gaining position or for intercepting a throwing outside the
playing square.
13.1.2.
A player hit, push, pull or trip to another
player who is throwing to a “fosi”, from anywhere in the square.
It is awarded penalty against the team of the player who comitted the foul.
13.1.3.
A player hit, push, pull or trip to another
player who is left alone in front of the “fosis”, preventing an overt shooting
opportunity.
13.2. A
penalty kick must be effect by a player from the team which received the foul
or which was throwing to a “fosi” of this side.
13.3. The
penalty kick must be executed by a throwing from behind the central circle (8,5 meters). The ball can bounce or not before knock down the “fosi”, even it can
go rolling on the floor.
13.4. The
rest of players of all teams must stay out of the imagine line that it join the
central circle and the bottom line.
13.5. If a
player of any team interrupt the throwing crossing by the space not allowed to
be in the penalty, the penalty will repeat, save the throwing would finish with
a “fosi” knocked down.
